Tame One, an American hip hop artist, was born in 1970 in Newark, New Jersey, United States.
"Tame One" was his stage name, his real name was "Rahem Brown".
His debut album, Tame One, was released in 2007.
He was a member of Artifacts, Leak Bros, and the hip-hop supergroup The Weathermen.
He had worked with a number of producers, including Madlib, J Dilla, and Alchemist.
Tame One had appeared on numerous tracks by other artists, including El-P, Aesop Rock, and Cage.
He had also appeared in the films War and Peace and When the Levees Broke.
Tame One was an active member of the hip-hop community and had been involved in numerous charitable and philanthropic activities.
In July 2009 Tame One released a music video for his single "Anxiety Attacks" the video was directed by Derek Pike.
In 2010, he launched the Tame One Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides resources and support to disadvantaged youth in the hip-hop community.
