Jovit Baldivino first gained popularity when he won the reality singing competition, Pilipinas Got Talent, in 2010.
He had released two studio albums, Jovit Baldivino and Faithfully, since winning the competition.
In 2011, Jovit was chosen to be the Philippine representative at the 2011 Asia Song Festival in Korea.
Jovit had performed with some of the biggest names in the Filipino music industry, including Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, and Regine Velasquez.
He had also collaborated with other popular Filipino singers, such as Yeng Constantino and Christian Bautista.
Jovit had been an active philanthropist, regularly performing benefit concerts for various charitable causes.
He had also released a Christmas album and a live album.
In 2013, Jovit was chosen to be the Philippine representative for the World Championships of Performing Arts.
He had the privilege of performing the Philippine National Anthem at the opening ceremony of the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship.
On December 4, 2022, Baldivino suffered a mild hemorrhagic stroke and underwent operation. He later died on December 9.
