Jesse Powell was born on September 12, 1971 and brought up in Gary, Indiana.
Jesse Powell was an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter, best known for his 1999 song “You.”
“You” reached No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard charts, as well as No. 2 on the R&B charts.
Powell was the older brother of fellow contemporary R&B singers Trina & Tamara.
