Dawid Malan, a English cricketer, was born on 3 September 1987 in London, United Kingdom.
He started playing cricket for Middlesex County Cricket Club at the age of 17.
Dawid Malan's first job was for South African airline, Comair.
He has also represented South Africa in the Under-19 World Cup in 2006.
He has also represented England Under-19 cricket team and played for England Lions cricket team.
He made his Twenty20 International debut against South Africa on 1 February 2017.
He made his One Day International debut against Ireland on 5 May 2017.
He made his Test debut against South Africa on 24 August 2017.
He is the first and only cricketer who has scored a century on Test debut and won the man of the match award in the same match.
He was the fastest Englishman and the second-fastest debutant to score a century, which he achieved in just 78 balls.
