Tatsuya Endo was born on July 23, 1980, in Ibaraki, Japan.
At the age of 3, he started to skate and then appeared at his first competition when he was 6.
When he was 9, he became the youngest skater to win the Japanese Championships.
He has been coached by Nobuo Sato since he was little.
In 2007, he represented Japan at the World Junior Championships and placed 8th.
In 2010, he won gold at the World Junior Championships.
In 2012, he won the World Championships. After that, he won the World Championships again in 2014 and 2015.
In 2016, he won the Olympic silver medal.
Tatsuya Endo is a former member of the Japanese boy group SMAP.
Tatsuya Endo made his acting debut in the Japanese drama “Boys Over Flowers” in 1996.
